My committee reflects the following story:

Sharing the Load

In a horse pulling contest, the first place draft horse pulled a sled with a load of 4500 pounds. The second place draft horse pulled 4000 pounds. Following the contest, the owner of the winner suggested both horses should try a pull together. They pulled 12,000 pounds - - - an extra 3500 pounds.

The message - - - working together can get more done than working alone.
