Fundraising

The fundraising committee was very busy the end of April and the beginning of May getting ready for the Yard Sale which was very successful. We made $1,051. $65 of this will go to the Youth Group. They potted plants and sold them at the yard sale. These funds will go towards their activities this summer and/or their trip to Ocean City in the fall. The Youth Group members were very helpful at the Yard Sale, and we want to give them a big “Thank you.” A special thank you to the Hower family, Bessie Bowman, Teresa Ashby, Ann Helton, Art Helton, Curtis Cohen, Janet Cohen, Merrill Cohen, Nolan Gallion, Jim Duffy, Larry Guess, Heidi Pensell, Gwen Stolzenbach, Mary Muir, Marie Wehland, and Gary Lyttle for all of the help they gave to help us be successful. Thank you to everyone who baked and donated items, and bought items at the sale.

Our next event is the Doug Mattingly Concert. Purchase your $10 tickets from Doris or Gary for an enjoyable evening of music.

Put Thursday, July 5 th, on your calendar. This is Dough Day. We will make the pie dough and put it in pie plates to freeze for our Peach Festival in August. We will notify you of specific times in the near future.
