Webster UCC Youth Group

With our congregation rapidly growing we have decided to start up a Youth Group for those who are in middle and high school. On May 19, 2007 we had a movie night for the youth. We had 9 youth groupers and friends. The evening started with an experiment representing peer pressure and what happens when the pressure gets to be too much. We then went in and enjoyed the movie “A Night at the Museum”. A good time was had by all, and it was very nice to see new faces. We have planned other events for the upcoming months. Stay tuned for the actual dates. With summer coming up and the end of school at hand, we hope to have many activities for our youth group to do. We recently had a fundraiser in which the youth group earned $180 to use toward activities and trips. We appreciate all the donations and help that were provided.

We would also like to congratulate our high school and college graduates. This is a very special time in their lives. Marilyn and Walter Cooley’s grandchildren. Alexander Post, Audrey Ells Payne, Michelle Benoit, Maria Ojala. Ruth Spencer’s grandchildren. Ray Spencer II graduating from Perryville High School, Amanda Spencer graduating from Towson University. Levin and Grace Heath’s grandchildren. Carter Greninger from Mt. St. Mary’s University and Kohler Grineger from John Carroll High School. We also have two graduates from Harford Community College, Amelia Corpus and Shawna Ashman. We know how hard all of you have worked and what great accomplishments everyone has done. We are very proud of our graduates and look forward to supporting you in future endeavors.
