Doug Mattingly Concert - A Thank You

I would like to thank everyone that came to the Doug Mattingly concert on Saturday, June 23. It was a great musical evening for anyone that enjoys jazz, classical, or soft rock n roll. Doug is an extraordinary talent and what he does with the guitar is truly a gift from God. I hope we have not heard the last of Doug here at Webster Church; it would be great to have this as an annual event.

I would like to thank everyone that was involved in putting this event together, Doris Lyttle, Bessie Bowman, Kellie and Woody Hower, Heidi Pensell and of course Gwen Stolzenbach who was the driving force behind the concert.

I will leave you with a quote from Izaak Walton: “Lord, what music hast thou provided for thy saints in heaven, when thou affordest bad men such music on earth!” Thanks!
