A Note from Your Moderator

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new members that joined our church last Sunday. It is really wonderful to have the Meyers family and Auggie and George as part of our church family. As you can tell our church keeps on growing! It is important that we keep the momentum going in 2007. As we begin this wonderful season of Advent, I hope we can all take the time to reflect on this special time of year. As we begin our search for the right gift to buy for our loved ones, let’s not forget the wonderful gift God gave us all those years ago when he gave us his son to free us from sin.

As Christmas gets closer let us remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Let us pray for our young men and women serving their country in far off lands; putting their lives on the line for all of us. Take time to pray for all the people that serve us on a daily basis, our police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel. I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas and share in all of Gods blessing on that great day!
