Sunday School Update

Parents, please mark your calendars for these important Sunday School events:

• Sunday, March 9 - Sunday School Seder Meal (during Sunday School)
• Saturday, March 15 - Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Decorating Contest
• Sunday, March 23 - Easter (Family Sunday - no Sunday School)
• Monday, April 28 - VBS Meeting (at Hopewell, 6:30 pm)
• Sunday, June 8 - Sunday School Church Service (Pool Party/Picnic in afternoon)
• July 13-17 - VBS (at Hopewell, 6:00 to 8:15 pm)

Thanks to everyone who made our Karaoke Mardi Gras party a huge success. Special thanks to DJ Gary Lyttle, Guitar Hero Mac Placzankis, and Heidi Pensell who put it all together.  Enjoy the pictures at the end of the Webster Word and even more pictures soon on the Church web site. 

The elementary and pre-k children (and the teachers) have really been enjoying our new Hands On Bible Curriculum.  Some of our children are even taking their Bibles home and reading them on their own!!  Each "reader" gets a Bible, which I have paid for personally because they went beyond our Christian Ed budget.  If any parent wishes to reimburse me for the cost of your child(ren)'s Bible(s), they were $11/each.  Thanks to those of you who have already reimbursed me!  If you can't reimburse me, no worries.  No child will go without a Bible!

If you are interested in helping out with Vacation Bible School this year, please see Woody or Kelly Hower, Heidi Pensell, or me.  The following "positions" are still available:  Offering Co-Coordinator, Snack Helpers, and Teachers and Helpers for classes, crafts, and nursery.  It is a really rewarding and fun experience for children and adults!
