Thank You to Our Choir
For the last eight years I have had the pleasure of singing in the Webster Church choir. It has been a great opportunity for me to express myself musically and to glorify God at the same time. I want to thank all the people I have had the privilege to sing with over these last eight years, but especially the great group of people that are part of the choir now. There has not been any group more dedicated to expressing their joy, and love of God as the people in the choir today. There is something more to this group then just talent or ability; I am convinced that there is more of a spiritual joy that goes beyond the everyday church choir. I know that I have felt it many times in some of the great music we have sung recently.
I have informed the choir that I will be taking some time off while Doris goes through her treatments and the start of her chemotherapy; I look forward to sitting with her in our favorite pew on Sunday mornings, and praying and singing together and enjoying our pastor’s sermons. I will miss the choir but I promise that eventually I will be back, to sing again.
Thanks again to Auggie, George, Gwen, Debbie, Ann H, Ann G, Larry, Pat, Joyce, Casey and David. Please keep Doris and me in your prayers as we will pray for all of you. I encourage any members of the congregation that enjoys singing to come forward and have the time of your life singing with our church choir.
Thank you,
Gary Lyttle
