Peach Festival

The Peach Festival will be on Saturday, August 18, 2007, from 10 am to 2 pm. We will need helpers to help with the following:

• Let everyone know about the Peach Festival (post flyers at places in your neighborhood and at work)
• Peel and cut up peaches
• Make pies the week before August 18th
• Help serve and clean up on August 18th
• Bake items for our bake table

We would like people to bake items for the bake table, preferably something with peaches, but we will accept other items too. If you need a peach recipe, let Doris know.

We will be notifying everyone when we will meet to peel peaches for the ice cream sundaes and for the peach pies. If you can help, give Doris Lyttle, Bessie Bowman, Heidi Pensell, Woody and Kelly Hower, or Curtis Cohen a call.

The menu includes: hot dogs, sloppy Joes, peach pie, peach sundaes, and drinks. We look forward to what ever help you can give us and hope to seeing you at the Peach Festival.

Our goal is to have the Peach Festival become one of Webster Church’s biggest fund raisers, just as blueberry and apple festivals are for neighboring churches. We can do it with everyone’s help.
