Webster Word

A Message From Your Pastor

Dear Webster Family,

I have been witness to the Word of God coming to life in our congregation. When Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you”, you have kept his Word and you have followed his direction in every way. These last few months have been trying for my sister Laura and me, and all of our extended family members. I am so very grateful for all you have done to help us begin the healing process in the loss of our beloved mother.

We now have so much to look forward to in the life of our church. We begin with the wedding of Ashley Myers and Carson McAbee on August 4 th at the church, and an old fashioned barbeque on our grounds alongside the church. The youth will provide games for the guests, and it should be great fun!

Then, on August 18 th, we have our peach festival, where we will serve those yummy homemade pies and all the peach recipes for the community to enjoy, and we have the opportunity to work and play together again.

I am so happy to see so many children coming with their parents to worship services over the past few months, and the Vacation Bible School was the best yet! Our Children’s ministry team and Youth ministry leaders have worked so well together that the children tell me they can hardly wait for Sundays, so they can come to worship, and visit with all their friends while they learn more about Jesus and his love for them.

I wish you good health and happiness with all the blessings of a loving and caring community of faith, which you have helped to create and sustain with the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As you continue to grow in the faith, may your hearts be lifted up in knowing how much you are loved.

In Christ’s Service,

Pastor Lonna
