SCCW

The SCCW is planning for the Mother’s Day Dinner that will be held on May 12, 2007, at 6 PM, in Webster Church Social Hall.

The theme will be based on the American Idol. We are asking daughters and sons of all ages to perform for their mothers. It could be singing a song, doing a dance, playing an instrument, doing a reading, a monologue, etc. If a mother would like to entertain us on her own or with her daughter or son that would be fine too. We have a lot of talented people in our church and we would like to show case them. Let Teresa Ashby, Ann Helton, or Doris Lyttle know if you would like to be part of our entertainment. Watch for further information about the meal and ticket sales.

We had a successful Joe Corbi fundraiser. Bessie Bowman and Pat Mengel were our top sellers. We raised about $500 towards our benevolences.

Join us on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 7 PM, in the Social Hall for our SCCW meeting. Note this is a change of date.
